Janice Orchard is an Australian artist who specialises in the modern impressionist style with a touch of realism.
She teaches classes in oil, watercolour, acrylic and pastel as well as drawing techniques. Living in the Bass Coast region of Victoria, Janice is also available for workshops and loves to travel to interesting locations to paint in the landscape.
A veteran of the art show circuit since the age of sixteen, Janice has also taken part in group shows as well as successful solo exhibitions in her own region as well as in the city of Melbourne and she has received many awards and commendations for her work.
Janice Orchard tutors classes in painting and drawing through the Adult Education system as well as private classes in her studio in The Gurdies.
In 2004 an acquisition of a Janice Orchard painting by RACV Victoria was presented to the Minister for Tourism and Special Events, the Hon. John Pandazopoulos.
A prolific painter, Janice Orchard is represented in corporate and private collections in Japan, America, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa and Australia.
